C\u00f4ng nghi\u1ec7p c\u00f4ng ngh\u1ec7 th\u00f4ng tin (CNTT) \u0111ang t\u0103ng tr\u01b0\u1edfng nhanh v\u00e0 c\u1ea7n th\u00eam nhi\u1ec1u ng\u01b0\u1eddi ph\u00e1t tri\u1ec3n ph\u1ea7n m\u1ec1m. C\u00e1c c\u00f4ng ti c\u00f4ng ngh\u1ec7 \u0111ang c\u1ea1nh tranh v\u1edbi nhau v\u1ec1 ng\u01b0\u1eddi ph\u00e1t tri\u1ec3n ph\u1ea7n m\u1ec1m. The High Demand Skills<\/p>\n

The Information Technology (IT) industry is growing fast and needs more software developers. Technology companies are competing with each other for software developers. According to several industry reports, most IT jobs require at least a Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher with 2 years of experience.<\/p>\n

Although Java and C++ are still the number one skills needed but due to more open source and Web applications there are increasing numbers of job for developers with skills in Python and Ruby. On the Mobile application area, Android skills are the top of the list, Apple Objective C and IOS are second. Another high demands are HTML 5, JavaScript and UI Design. Most of these jobs require a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.<\/p>\n

As more companies are using IT, more data are generated and recently \u201cHot jobs\u201d are Database Administrators, Database Architects and Business Intelligence Specialists with knowledge and skills of Oracle, Cognos, MySQL, and Informatica. Most of these jobs require a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information System Management.<\/p>\n

Since IT industry is changing fast, many companies are transitioning to Cloud computing instead of having their own IT support group and Data center. There are high demand for people with knowledge and skills of Salesforce, Amazon Web Services \u2013 Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Marketo, and Eloqua. Most of these jobs require a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information System Management or Software Engineering.<\/p>\n

As more software developments are happening, the need for more Quality Assurance workers is also in high demand to ensuring a project; product or service meets certain standards and satisfies requirements. Most of these jobs require a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Software Engineering and 2 to 5 years of experience.<\/p>\n

Almost every company needs System Security specialists to protect, prevent and ensure a safe and secure environment for their customers and employees. Most of these jobs require a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering and a Security certificates.<\/p>\n

I compared several job openings listed on various IT skills and the salaries companies pay to obtain them. Currently mobile apps developers (iPhone\/iPad and Android development skills) are among those in greatest demand, as many companies are paying extra bonus to obtain those skills. (Average salary $85,000 – $125,000 and a signing bonus of $30,000 if they agree to work for company for 2 years). Companies also pay top salary for Database Administrators with MySQL, Cognos and Informatica expertise (Average salary $92,000 \u2013 $135,000).<\/p>\n

Since most companies could not find enough IT workers, many have to outsource their software development to other countries. Few years ago, IT outsource is about low cost, now it changes quickly into needed skills. The value of outsourcing contracts also change quickly to accommodate this new demand. Today companies are willing to pay outsourcing service companies $45 to $60 USD an hour for mobile app developers. India is still the key destination for most IT outsourcing business but it also has problem with finding enough IT workers.
