The future Billionaires<\/p>\n

The global economy is entering a severe recession with trading among countries decrease about 50% and it could throw many developing countries into crisis and hundred millions of people in poverty. Several economists said that there is no obvious recovery in the near future because the U.S. is recovering from a financial crisis; Europe is having major problems of recessions in Greece, Spain and it is spreading; Asia is no longer growing because its economy is based entirely on exports but most of its customers are not buying anymore. The collapse in oil prices has reduced the fast growing of many Middle East oil-exporting countries.<\/p>\n

However in the shadows of this global recession, a group of future billionaires is quietly working with new ideas that will help fuel future economy growth and make them very rich: The Technology Entrepreneur. President Obama is depending on these entrepreneurs to help turn the economy around. In a speech he gave last week, he stressed the importance of startups during tough times: “Hewlett-Packard began in a garage; it was a startup that launched the electronic industry. Apple also started in a garage; it was a startup that launched the computer industry. Google began as a research project in university; it was a startup that launched the Internet business.”<\/p>\n

Although Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is no longer a billionaire as his company value have fallen significantly as more people are growing tired of social-networking after a few years. However in Japan, two social-networking founders are moving into the Billionaire club. Yoshikazu Tanaka of GREE, a social networking site that went public and its stock increased more than 50% on the first day of trading; Tanaka\u2019s fortune is worth about $1.1 billion today. Kenji Kasahara, founded Mixi, another social-networking site is very close to be another billion club member. Of course, China already had thirty five Billionaires who made their fortune in Information technology; some of them are younger than forty and two are only in their twenty. According to a U.S. government report, over 68% of World Billionaire came from the Information Technology area but there is another technology area that is very promising.<\/p>\n

So where will the next Bill Gates and Steve Jobs come from? According to U.S. government report the next \u201cHot area\u201d is Biotechnology where some billionaires already emerged such as R.J. Kirk with $1.5 billion fortune ranked him on the list of Billionaire club. The government predicts that Biotechnology area will produce many billionaires and created million high paying jobs. The report predicted that Biotechnology will be many times bigger than Information Technology because it deals with the real critical needs of people. A Wall Street analyst said: \u201cWhen you have a chronic disease, when you are facing with death, money does not matter anymore. You will pay whatever cost for treatment and that is the next frontier. Biotechnology is about finding a cure for diseases and keeps people healthy and lives longer.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, there will be a difference between Information technology Billionaire and the next generation of Billionaire. Many of the IT Billionaires have never completed college: Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Larry Ellison, Michael Dell, and Marc Zuckerberg. The next Billionaire will mostly be very well educated; many will have advanced degrees such as Master or Ph.D because in Biotechnology, you cannot learn from books and create something in a garage. The next entrepreneurs who create new drugs that cure diseases will probably develop them in university or in research laboratories. They could be young Medical doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses and Information Technology Scientists who get their education from top universities.<\/p>\n

If you dream to be the next Billionaire, if you want to be an entrepreneur then go to school and select STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
