Carnegie IT ProfessionalCenter was established in K-park, providing great support for software outsourcing industry in Wuxi.<\/p>\n

On June 15, at the signing ceremony, Taihu Lake International Technology and EducationIndustrial Park, CarnegieMellonUniversity and iSoftStone jointly signed an agreement on the establishment of the iCarnegie IT ProfessionalCenter in Wuxi. Yang Weize, a member of Jiangsu Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Wuxi Municipal Party Committee, Wuxi city leaders Xu Gang, Fang Wei and Ni Bin, Mark Kamlet, Deputy President of CarnegieMellonUniversity, William L Guttman, Chairman of the board in Carnegie, Joel Tarr, CEO of Carnegie and Liu Tianwen, President and CEO of iSoftStone, attended the signing ceremony.<\/p>\n

Established in 1900, CarnegieMellonUniversity ranks first in subjects like Computer Science, Software Engineering and IT Management in America. It is the first time for the university to hold professional training in mainland of China. The cooperation includes certified courses on software development, software engineering and other IT subjects. The center will be opened in October, 2009.<\/p>\n

Yang Weize said that it was a milestone of Wuxi that iCarnegie IT ProfessionalCenter was established in K-park. It was certain that the center can speed up the development of service outsourcing industry, especially software outsourcing industry in our city. He hoped that more talents of International IT would be cultivated through the IT training courses to substantially ease the demand pressure in this industry, catch up with the international main developing trend and make the city a base of IT talent cultivation in China.<\/p>\n

Carnegie Institute for IT Professionals Comes to Wuxi, China<\/p>\n

Wuxi Binhu District, iCarnegie and iSoftStone have reached an agreement to jointly found the iCarnegie Institute for IT Professionals in Wuxi. The signing ceremony was held at Wuxi\u2019s Hubin Hotel on June 15, 2009.
