Outsourcing To ten<\/p>\n

Becoming “The next Bangalore” will mean more money in the bank and more people will have jobs. Since 2000, the outsource software development outside a home country has added more than 10 million IT jobs to India and an additional 60 million jobs in local services and infrastructure, according to India’s IT trade association, NASSCOM.<\/p>\n

As labor costs and turnover rates rise in India, many companies are starting to send works to other parts of the globe to avoid risks and take advantage of lower labor elsewhere. Here are 10 cities that are emerging as new outsourcing centers. Each lists the city’s specialties services The list was compiled by management consulting firm neoIT based on the availability and skill of workers, cost competitiveness, the quality of the local infrastructure such as transportation, and the risks of doing business in each city. The cities are listed alphabetically, as there is no ranking.<\/p>\n

1) Buenos Aires, Argentina<\/p>\n

Specialty: Mostly open-source technologies – With the devaluation of the peso,\u00a0 limited capital IT workers have to use open-source, or freely available software. Average Salary: USD $28\/Hour<\/p>\n

2) Bucharest, Romania<\/p>\n

Specialty: Security systems development and software testing – A high availability of qualified personnel and the city’s proximity to Western Europe make it attractive. Average Salary: USD $25\/Hour<\/p>\n

3) Dalian, China<\/p>\n

Specialty: Application development, Manufacturing application and technologies – Dalian has a high availability of workers who are proficient in medium-level IT activities. Proximity to Japan and workers who are fluent in Japanese make it appealing to Japanese companies. Average Salary: USD $22\/Hour<\/p>\n

4) Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam<\/p>\n

Specialty: Applications maintenance and technology support -Labor is very cheap here, costing much less than India, China. Workers are adept at performing labor-intensive IT support services. Average Salary: USD $12\/Hour<\/p>\n

5) Mexico City<\/p>\n

Specialty: Custom application development – Having the same time zone as parts of the U.S. and fairly good availability of skilled labor make the Mexican capital a good place for software projects that require extensive collaboration with U.S.-based teams. Average Salary: USD $24\/Hour<\/p>\n

6) Moscow<\/p>\n

Specialty: High-end software R&D; development of embedded software, or programs that reside within a specific device -There’s an availability of highly qualified engineering talent, specializing in R&D and high-end product development. Average Salary: USD $58\/Hour<\/p>\n

Specialty: IT systems & Infrastructure services -Prague’s good infrastructure and proximity to Western Europe make it a good place for companies that want easy access to outsourcing providers. Average Salary: USD $28\/Hour<\/p>\n
