WorldUniversity Ranking<\/p>\n

The World Higher Education organization in the U.K has just released a new ranking of the top 50 universities in the world. Among the top universities, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and California Institute of Technology share the number one position. Princeton University occupies third place. The University of California at Berkeley occupies fourth place while Stanford University, takes fifth. In this list, CarnegieMellonUniversity occupies number twelve position. In total, twenty two U.S universities are listed among the top 50 best university in the world.<\/p>\n

The UK has fifteen universities with three of the top 10 including University of Cambridge, University of Oxford and Imperial College of London. Asia has ten universities listed compared with only six from Europe. Among top schools in Asia are: The National University of Singapore ranked # 19th. The University of Tokyo rank # 21st. TsinghuaUniversity occupies # 31 and PekingUniversity ranked # 44.<\/p>\n
