Answer: It is good to develop a lifelong learning habit by continue to learn via books, articles, blogs, websites and online tutorials. However, it does not replace a college education. There are many things you learn in college that websites or online tutorials cannot teach. College education is more than just reading books or taking tests but also about participate in a learning environment where you learn social skills, soft-skills, and develop friendships. My answer is: College education is important and I encourage you to go to college if you can.<\/p>\n

The reality is to get good job, you must have something that companies require. Today companies require college degrees as evidence that you have the right knowledge and skills. If you have degree, you may get hired but if you do not, they do not even consider you.<\/p>\n

Please do not confuse success and knowledge. Some students look at successful people and dream that they could be like them. They identify themselves with successful people and eventually believe that they also do not need to finish college. That is na\u00efve. Do not take an exception and consider it as a rule. The reason Mr. Gates did not finish college was he wanted to devote more time to start Microsoft, not because he could not finish school.
